Enjoy the colors of the season from the top of the Cordova Observation Tower or paddling along the cliffs of Lake Red Rock. The Karr Nature Trail at Cordova Park is also a great spot for a fall family photo. Participate in one of the fall recreational events such as the Dirty Wooden Shoe Cyclocross.
Campgrounds are open in September, so come out when the air gets crisp to really enjoy campfires roasting smores and drinking hot cocoa after a day of enjoying the colors.
After the camping season closes, there are acres and acres of public ground at Lake Red Rock open for hunting. Visit the Red Rock Visitor’s Center or online for a map of public hunting areas. Another hunting option is Bennsick Farms Hunting Preserve. The Red Rock Archery Range open March to October is a great place to practice your skills.
